The Farmhouse Restaurant in Lubbock

Lets start with the look of the place and is amazing inside and outside, staff is super friendly, food took around 20 min but i was during during a rush hour, restaurant was full so the time was good and the food was hot and delicious.

I had the chicken fried steak and scrambled egg breakfast and of course could only eat half because it was HUGE! So I finished it for supper and I think it was even better than it was this morning!!!! Excellent food! It was a great place to fellowship with family too. We had a great visit and weren't rushed. Go here, ur going to love it!

The host and waitress where very welcoming and friendly. However (with only 3 other small families in the restaurant) we waited more than 30 min and never received any food we did not have time to spend waiting any longer, so we never received any food just had them cancel our order. Will never bother trying this place again. We are doing our best to support local business at this time but be reasonable

The food at farmhouse has been excellent every time I have been there. My service has been great if I’m there at 6:30 am or 1:00pm. The coffee is good and the Oj is amazing. This time they brought a homemade salsa with my breakfast that went great with my potatoes. I always see the manager or owner walking around with a smile on there face which is reflected on the faces of all there employees. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Our server Latasha was excellent the food was so good. The enchilada soup was so good we ordered some to go for later!

Food was good, but the restaurant (Milwaukee) is clearly choosing to disregard the minimum standard health protocols for reopening. I’m all for running things how you want, but even I’ve got to admit that during this time it is weird to be sat directly next to 4 other full tables when they’re running at a quarter capacity; salt, pepper, condiments left out on all tables and not cleaned between guests; and unwashed, dirty, reusable menus.

Food was good, quick service.

The chef is very creative! Clean and very professional employees, the serve very well. It is spaced for social distancing but when it gets busy it gets a little questionable. We enjoyed the food!

Get here early and enjoy. Showed up at 850 on a Sunday and right at 9am every table was full. Waitresses were quick and attentive. Great breakfast options when on keto as well as original ideas. 1 pancake will suffice as it's as big as a hubcap

My 1st visit here and I will definitely be back ! They offer an excellent egg white omelet with asparagus, spinach, tomatoes and onions. It was absolutely delicious served with a smoky salsa. I also had avocado toast on thick toasted wheat bread. My server Dylan was especially wonderful, providing an exceptional dining experience. Everyone there was friendly and super helpful.

Food was good. The French toast was thin and not left in the batter long enough, the middle was dry. The wait is long, but the service was quick after we got seated.

Service was great. Very attentive, great food, fast & delicious meal for a fair price. I’ll definitely be back. I got the Veggie Benedict. It was delectable.

Just enjoyed our office Christmas party at The Farmhouse for the second year in a row! Absolutely DELICIOUS fajitas!!! Thank you Steve and staff for all you do! It was GREAT again. 😊

The food is great but I feel some, not all of the employees, need to cleanup a little better. They rest the drink glasses against their chest when delivering. Also scratch there head or wiping hands on clothes then going straight to the kitchen to retrieve food.

Best place to get breakfast in Lubbock! Restaurant is always super clean, the waitstaff is always so nice and prompt. You also get a lot of food for the price. I would definitely recommend the "big as your head" pancake, just don't expect to be able to eat it all.

Big as your face pancakes! I had an omelette and it was great. No complaints. The place seemed to be popular Saturday mornings because there was a wait from 9:30 when I arrived through when I left at 11:00.

Today was my first time trying it and it was really good. We had to wait about 25 minutes but was not in a hurry. I had a giant pancake with blueberry, banana and strawberries and it was delicious. It's so big two people can share. Tasted the farmhouse hash it was good as well. Definitely coming back.

Delicious! What a nice treat! Wonderful and diverse menu ranging from traditional breakfast entrees to egg dishes with a Southwestern flair. I enjoyed the Stuffed French Toast. Perfectly prepared spongy French toast filled with scrambled eggs and sausage. Delish. Our group also sampled the traditional breakfast and a Benedict dish. Both were excellent. Good service as well. Go early to beat the crowd.

We have been a few times and really enjoyed it. A clean place with friendly people and yummy food. I have tried a few items that have been good but I loved the frittata. Highly recommended.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and good food. Everything about this place felt both classic and modern, and the breakfast was well executed. I really liked everything about this place. Definitely one of the nicest breakfast places in the Lubbock area. Can’t go wrong with choosing this spot.

Staff was great but for lunch yesterday my over hard eggs had runny white in them but burnt on the outside and my impressive huge pancake was not cooked very well either so not so impressive very bad lunch experience will not be going back

The waitress was super nice and the place is clean. But the burger made me sick to the point i didn't want to eat for the rest of the day. Wasn't expecting it to come on toast so i was pretty disappointed. Not much of a selection on the food but the prices weren't outrageous. I probably wont be back

Good food, great service, but the place could use some sound improvements. Small place and loud with the tables full. Creative menu but I preferred the basics- shared a few items at the table and really like the classes eggs bennidict, the spicy one fell short with raw onions. Definitely on our list to try again at a slower time.

We had excellent service and the food is great. Enjoyed it every time we go but their phone doesn’t work. I lost one earring and was going to call to see if they found it but as I said the phone doesn’t work or there is another phone number besides what’s on their Webb site. Great other that that.

Good food and service! Make sure to split/share Pancakes they are huge! Taste like everything is made from scratch. Definitely a repeat!

I always love eating here, and today was no exception. The service is always top notch, the atmosphere is homey, and the food is heavenly. Our server today, Coral, was phenomenal.My favorite things to get here are the avocado toast and the pancakes, along with a cup of coffee. Little things: I love that one of their sweetener options is raw sugar - much healthier than traditional sweetener packets. Another thing I love is that there is an option to request eggs from a local farm.I always enjoy coming here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food & service were excellent! Don't expect a plush, lavish interior. It more resembles a farm house but if you want good food, this is the place.

Dining in at 1pm, when it’s supposedly less busy we waited 40 minutes for three meals. They were at half capacity, eating here when it’s full will likely end up with it closing before you get your meal. After ordering we were never visited or told anything by staff on why it was taking so long, they’re only capable of giving drink refills.

I came on the recommendation of two friends, and was not impressed at all. The prices are good, and the staff is great, but soggy french toast and nearly raw, (over med), eggs were not how I hoped to start the day. I can't judge overall on one visit, so I hope for a more pleasant experience next time.

Very busy there was Six of us .waited 40 mi United to be seated. They would bring out two plates at a time food was ok probably won't go back

Cute breakfast place and the food was alright, but really not designed to seat for a party of over 4. Was told on arrival that it would be about 15-20 mins for our group of 6 to be seated. We were waiting for one of the only large table to be free, which took over an hour. While I understand that this isn't a direct fault of the restaurant, the could have cut off their coffee or politely tell them that another group was waiting. Finally there's a lot of flies in the restaurant.

Thanks, Ashley (our waitress 👍) & older lady with glasses & ponytail & younger woman with long brown hair and big brown eyes ALL made my wife and I feel VERY WELCOME (1st time trying "The Farmhouse"). Tasty, strong coffee; the way it should be! 🤣 My dear wife REALLY LIKED the Jalepeno 🌽 cake, & the sour dough TOAST was PRETTY & PERFECT. Those old partial (half of a whole wheel) wind pump blades with some bent corners & hanging row of bulbs & painted cute livestock pics WORKS for me. My wife said she could STILL eat a ribeye while looking at the sweet 🐄! 😋 And I thought she was city (mostly)!! 😂😉🤠

This was a very nice clean cute restaurant. The Mexican burger and the sandwich my daughter got was amazing and hot fresh fries. Owner very nice. We will be going back when we do our day visits to Lubbock. The breakfast menu looked awesome. Definitely will be back!

🤢I’ve eaten here before when it first opened and it’s seemed to go downhill since then. First time there wasn’t terrible, probably because it was right when they opened. Then came back another time, had poor service and my friends order was messed up twice before she finally just had to eat burnt food. Then decided to place a to-go order (thought maybe they had an off day and decided to try it again) When I opened the box it looked like pig slop. The pulled pork was terrible and tasted old, they maybe put one egg, and had a side of surprisingly dry potatoes sitting in a pool of grease. Yuck.

Saw this place and decided to try for breakfast. For a Saturday morning the wait at 9am was 15 minutes. However we were seated in 5 minutes. Greeted quickly by hostess and waitress. Service was great. Coffee was fresh and they left a carafe with coffee to serve yourself as needed. Love they do that! Ordered eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Food was fresh and warm except the toast. It was cold. When waitress asked how everything was. Mentioned toast was cold. Offered to replace. Eggs Benedict was also good. One egg perfect and one not so much. But our plates were eaten clean. Farmhouse decor all over. Done just right. Very cozy and would recommend to try. Can’t wait to come back again.

Came here for brunch with my wife. Had the spicy veggie omelette and added ham, and my wife had the biscuits and gravy with over medium eggs. Eggs were cooked correctly to order. Green chillies we're not hot (barely noticeable really) but the food was good. Coffee is nothing to write home about. Quaint diner stylings, better food than Huddle Hut any day. We'll return soon.

The owner and catering staff of Farmhouse Restaurant were extremely accommodating to our specific needs, and the food was delicious! 10/10 experience using Farmhouse Restaurant.
